How to play
- Three words read across and three read down, crossing at nine letters.
- The clue for the word you are in is shown under the grid.
- Tap the cell you are already on to switch between across and down.
- Every answer hands three letters to the words crossing it.
- Reveal a letter if you are stuck — it costs thirty seconds.
Tips
- Start with the clue you are sure of: it gives you three letters of every crossing word.
- If a crossing letter contradicts your answer, the answer is wrong — the crossing rarely is.
- Short clues usually mean common words. Do not look for anything clever.
- Fill the letters you trust and read the gaps aloud — the word often appears by itself.
