How to play
- Men move one square diagonally forward and capture in all four directions.
- If a capture is available you must take it, and you must continue the chain while more captures exist.
- A man that ends its move on the far row becomes a king.
- A king moves and captures any distance along its diagonal.
- You lose when you have no pieces left, or no legal move.
Tips
- A forced capture is a weapon: offer a piece to drag your opponent where you want them.
- Keep your back row intact as long as you can — it stops kings from appearing.
- Count the chain before taking the first piece; a capture that looks free often ends badly.
- A king is worth about three men, so trading two men for a king is usually good.
