How to play

  • Pull away from the ball: the further you pull, the harder the strike.
  • The ball bounces off walls at the mirror angle, so banking shots works.
  • Sand slows the ball sharply; water costs a stroke and puts you back.
  • The ball only drops if it is rolling slowly enough over the hole.
  • Par is the expected number of strokes; the score counts the total.

Tips

  • Aim at the wall, not at the hole, when something is in the way — the bounce is exact.
  • A short second putt beats a long first one: speed past the hole does not count.
  • Go around the sand even if it is longer; it eats almost all the speed.
  • On long holes aim to stop beside the hole rather than reach it in one.
